Vision

The aim is to make JWOC in Göteborg to a memory for life.

All events shall be located close to Göteborg making distances to the competitions areas short.

The competitions shall offer demanding orienteering in varying types of terrain but still have a character that makes it possible for less experienced competitors to perform well.

The event centre, housing all participants, shall stimulate mixing and friendship over national borders and provide good possibilities for social events. The localization of the event centre close to the centre of Göteborg and its riverside will also make it possible to enjoy a visit both to the city centre and to the pleasant archipelago just outside Göteborg.

Press, media, participants, spectators and everybody interested in orienteering around the world shall be offered excellent possibilities to follow the competitions.
